Phil Rogers Retiring From Fire Department

Phil Rogers, the first black fire chief in Anderson history, is leaving the department. Rogers is retiring after 35 years of service. An open house in his honor is set for Nov. 12th from 5 to 7 p.m. at The Carriage House on West 53rd Street. The public is invited.
