Schools in Delaware County that serve as polling places will remain open on Election Day. Some schools in the central part of the state had planned to shut down schools over safety concerns about opening doors to the public while kids are in school. The Star Press reports it’s confirmed that schools that double as polling places will be open, as usual, next Tuesday.
