Indy Anti-Trump Protest Turns Violent

Indianapolis police say seven people were arrested and two officers injured after anti-Trump protesters threw rocks at officers trying to keep the peace downtown Saturday night. The rally was peaceful; what happened after was not. At one point marchers were blocking all lanes of Illinois Street, chanting, “Kill the police.” As officers moved in, they were pelted with rocks and bottles. They used pepper spray to help disperse the crowds.
