Fluoride could be returning to Alexandria’s water supply. A dentist serving on the city council is asking the governing body to consider re-adding fluoride to the water after an absence of at least a year, calling it “…preventative dentistry at its best.” Alexandria Mayor Ron Richardson suggested the matter be presented to the city’s Board of Works, which is set to meet December 5th.
