Can Election Help Dems Break GOP Supermajority in House?

Next week’s election has Indiana Democrats looking to chip into the large Republican General Assembly majorities that have given the GOP a lock on the legislative agenda over the past four years. Democrats are optimistic about gaining the five seats they need to break the two-thirds supermajority in the House that allows Republicans to take action even with no Democrats present. Republicans appear likely to keep supermajority in the Senate.
