A second person has been charged with the murder of an Anderson teenager. Officers found the victim, 18-year-old Shaolin Newsom, fatally shot near a driveway in the 1800 block of West 21st Street around 5:20 p.m. Thursday. Newsom was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. One suspect, 17-year-old Tyrone Jones, was arrested the day of the murder. Now, 17-year-old Jaylon Brown has been booked into the Madison County Detention Center on a preliminary charge of murder.
