Its deer season and it comes with a reminder to area hunters to use caution after a Parker City hunter was injured Saturday in a fall from a deer stand. 31-year-old Seth Davis was injured when his tree stand malfunctioned. He fell 18 feet to the ground. And to make matters worse, could not find his cellphone for several minutes. Davis eventually found the phone, called for help and was airlifted to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
