The ‘Freedom Indiana’ advocacy group says Ivy Tech Community College has adopted a transgender-inclusive policy that will protect transgender and gender-nonconforming students and faculty from discrimination. The group says it also requires all school records to reflect a student’s gender and name; and it requires students be addressed by the name and pronouns that correspond to their gender identity.
