A replacement is in the works for a bridge over the Cardinal Greenway trail that’s closed to traffic after concerns uncovered during a recent inspection. Delaware County Bridge 226 was closed indefinitely this week by the county, reports the Star Press. That span was built in 1920 and is timber construction with an asphalt deck. Replacing it is estimated to cost about $830,000.
