The Blackford County Landfill Transfer Station is expected to be reopened by the first of the year. Members of the Blackford County Commissioners voted unanimously to reopen the facility on a limited basis. Commissioner Scott Confer says he expects to see the landfill operating twice a month on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
