The trial is underway for the Muncie man accused of killing his infant son and then setting a fire to cover up the crime. When he was arrested in August 2015, Cory Wallace allegedly admitted that he failed to seek medical treatment for the baby after accidentally dropping him head first onto a hardwood floor. Chief Deputy Prosecutor Eric Hoffman told Delaware Circuit Court 1 jurors that the baby’s fatal brain injuries were caused when the infant was severely shaken, not by a fall.
