Police are investigating the shooting of a Muncie man in a southside neighborhood Thursday. 46-year-old William E. Norris, of the 400 block of North Madison Street, suffered gunshot wounds to the arm and the leg. Norris was taken to the hospital and treated for his injuries. The shooter was described as a black male wearing a blue sweatshirt, and may have had a .38-caliber handgun.
