It’s a six year prison sentence for an Anderson man. 22-year-old Joshua Bates will serve four years in prison followed by two years of probation after pleading guilty to felony ‘misconduct with a minor’ that resulted in the birth of a child. The girl says it was consensual and that Bates was aware of her age.
