New Funding To Help Clean Up River

New grants for the care of the Mississinewa River —a tributary of the Wabash River—totaling $65,000 have been awarded to the Delaware County Soil and Water Conservation District by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. One big goal is to help reduce Gulf hypoxia. Like the White River, the Mississinewa ranks among the most impaired recreational streams in the state.
