Lone bid to take down blighted Muncie properties

A lone bid opened up this week to take down 11 blighted properties in Muncie. It came from an Anderson contractor and, if approved, it could mean those buildings could be taken down by the end of the year. Four million dollars for the project was won by the city from the state two years ago and the city has received extensions from state agencies that awarded the Hardest Hit blight elimination funding.
