Muncie police say a man that was fatally shot Wednesday was trying to stage an armed invasion of an eastside apartment. The Star Press reports that 26-year-old Scott Gilliam died as a result of a single gunshot wound in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene, in the 1500 block of East Washington Street. The resident of the apartment had a surveillance camera and saw what was coming.
