A Muncie man police say was allegedly drunk behind the wheel, is the target of a lawsuit. 45 year old Michael Goodman is accused of striking Norman Cooper, also of Muncie, with his car in the parking lot of the Selma American Legion Post 437 on August 8, 2014. The suit claims Goodman had been drinking in the place before the accident and the post is named in the suit as well. The suit seeks damages enough to compensate Cooper for lost wages, medical expenses and loss of enjoyment of life.
