Rape charges face a rural Muncie man. 21-year-old Benjamin Upchurch of the 27 hundred block of East Delaware County Road 350-S, is charged with attacking an acquaintance back in January. The charges against him are felonies. Police say Upchurch had been a part-time corrections officer at the Delaware County Jail and was placed on leave when the charges came to light.
