The filing deadline was last Friday, now the races are set for school board seats in Madison County. In Anderson, incumbent Irma Hampton Stewart is being challenged in the Central District by Robert Bookhart, Terry May and Thomas Tijerina. Sabrina Tolston, Holly Rent, Ed Fredericks and Lindsey Parton are running in the East District. In the South District, incumbent Tim Long is being challenged by Bill Watson and Tammy Sloss. There are no contested races for the Frankton-Lapel, South Madison and Madison-Grant school boards.
