Hundreds of people got a chance to see how emergency crews work during the annual Pendleton Safety Day. Hosted by the Pendleton Fire Department, the event gave attendees the opportunity to see a Lifeline helicopter up close, a demonstration by a Madison County Sheriff’s K-9, and take rides around town on Pendleton’s antique fire truck. The town has hosted the annual safety fair for nearly 20 years.
