Governor Mike Pence issued a statement today about the shootings last night of over a dozen Dallas officers. He said the shootings were a “horrific ambush” and a national tragedy. In a statement released today, Pence used this tragedy to remind Hoosiers that this attack is a heartbreaking reminder of the risks men and women in law-enforcement take on every day. He asks Hoosiers to focus on ways to “build bridges of opportunity and hope” in communities across the state.
