It has been 71 years since the original U.S.S. Indianapolis met its fate. Now, Lockheed Martin is building a new U.S.S. Indianapolis and is celebrating its construction with a keel-laying ceremony next Monday at a shipyard in Marinette, Wisconsin. U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly of Indiana, along with his wife, Navy leaders and representatives from Lockheed Martin will be attending.
