The Muncie Ironman race is this Saturday at Prairie Creek Reservoir, and organizers are expecting more athletes than in years past. It’s nearly sold out, and the event is also looking for additional volunteers to help put on the race, which is a 1.2 mile swim, a 56-mile bike ride, then a half-marathon of 13.1 miles.
