The math doesn’t add up. The Muncie Fieldhouse needs work and lots of it, but the school district is facing an $11.5 million deficit. The Chief Financial Officer for the district tells the Star Press that the fieldhouse work can’t come at the expense of facilities that students use everyday. The repair estimate for the fieldhouse is upwards of $265 thousand and the district may turn to the public for help paying the bill.
