A Jay County man has agreed to plead guilty to brutally killing his girlfriends newborn. 22-year-old Dalton Davis is charged with the murder of the 5-week-old daughter of his girlfriend because he was upset with the woman. Davis told the sheriff’s investigator he forcefully hit the child’s head on the concrete and the autopsy said the baby died instantly. The prosecutor wants life without parole. The judge will decide by his August 25th sentencing.
