The funeral for the U.S. airman from Middletown who was found dead in a river near his base in Italy, will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Middletown Church of the Nazarene. Halex Hale was assigned to the 31st Fighter Wing at Aviano Air Base north of Venice. The cause of this death remains unknown.
