Now that the Republican Party State Central Committee has selected Eric Holcomb to replace Mike Pence as the gubernatorial candidate, Susan Brooks will seek a third term in the U.S. House. There will be a caucus of the precinct committeemen in the 5th District, which includes all of Madison County, to select a candidate. It is believed that Brooks will be the nominee.
