A former Muncie woman sued the city and the town of Albany after police followed a lead they knew was not credible in a search for a missing woman and raided the woman’s home in full SWAT gear. Gina Bosworth’s 15-year-old severely autisic daughter had a gun pointed at her head, the two were separated during interrogation and their house was ransacked. The court dismissed the lawsuit after the cities together paid Bosworth $85,000 to settle it.
