An elementary school teacher is missing from the Layfayette area. The teacher’s husband says she had fallen ill on Sunday and went to bed. He said he slept in another room and checked on her on Monday only to find her missing without taking her purse, wallet or car. 42-year-old Krista Perdue’s disappearance is worrisome, according to the Tippecanoe County Sheriff’s Department. Her husband is not a suspect at this time that can’t be ruled out.
