A Middletown man is dead after a fire in his rural Madison County home. The blaze broke out in the kitchen area of the home on State Road 236 between Anderson and Middletown. The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Michael Dwayne Caine. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of the death.
