A Lafayette school teacher missing for more than 24 hours has been found alive. Krista Perdue, a second grade teacher at Woodland Elementary School, had last been seen late Sunday or early Monday. Crews had been searching a pond near Perdue’s home when they found her. She was dehydrated and incoherent and likely would not have survived much longer. The 42-year-old mother was in serious condition and was being checked out at the hospital, but is expected to be okay
