A Muncie man who attacked a woman on the Ball State University campus has been sentenced to 11 years in prison. According to the Star Press, 23-year-old William Patrick Hilterbran was detained by two citizens after he tried to rob the woman near a campus parking garage in 2015. He was given credit for 424 days already spent in the Delaware County jail. A strangulation charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement.
