A restaurant in Muncie faces a wrongful death lawsuit following a fatal accident nearly two years ago. The suit against Red Lobster claims that the restaurant was negligent in the death of 71-year-old Sharon Kay West in 2014. West allegedly slipped on a lock mechanism used to keep the door propped open. She fell and hit her head, and died 17 days after the injury. The lawsuit is seeking unspecified compensation.
