Officials are calling it a “freak accident”. A Yorktown teen is dead after an incident with a stump grinder. It happened in Saturday afternoon just north of Hartford City while 18-year-old Cody Bronnenberg was helping his uncle on a tree removal job at a private residence. According to Blackford County Coroner, Tod Waters, the teen became entangled in the machinery and suffered multiple traumatic injuries. Bronnenberg was pronounced dead at the scene.
