Delaware County authorities have filed a lawsuit to keep more than $220,000 worth of silver bars that were seized last November in a search of a northern county property. Investigators searched 140 acres on North Wheeling Avenue after an informant tip. Police say the owner, now deceased, ran a marijuana distribution operation and converted his profits to precious metals in an attempt to conceal his illegal activities.
