Officials at the Madison County YMCA say they are reviewing an incident in which a 19-year-old patron nearly drowned in the pool at the Anderson facility. Emergency crews were called when the young man sank to the bottom of the 12-foot-deep end of the pool. The victim was taken to a local hospital and later airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. His condition remains unknown.
