An auditor with the Indiana State Board of Accounts has been hired as the next Anderson city controller. The Herald Bulletin reports that Douglas Whitham will take over the controller’s office on Monday. Whitham succeeds David Eicks, who has served as interim city controller since Mayor Broderick took office on Jan. 1. Eicks will continue serving as chairman of the Anderson Board of Public Works
