High Winds Create Havoc In E.C. Indiana

Thousands of EC Indiana residents were without power over the weekend as strong winds swept the area. Gusts of up to 55 miles per hour were reported with a period of sustained 40+ miles per hour winds. Trees were toppled; power lines downed and semis were reported to be blown off the road in Blackford and Grant Counties. There were more than 60-thousand outages reported throughout the state.  AEP expects full restoration by midnight tonight.
