An Elwood man admitted he was counterfeiting money and a Madison Circuit Court judge sentenced him to prison. 26-year-old Christopher Garner admitted he tried to pass fake 5’s and 20s and several businesses there. He was caught on surveillance video. Garner will spend $10 years in prison. He has a rap sheet that includes burglary in area counties and a battery in Madison County.
