A canine cop saves the day after an armed robbery attempt in Muncie. Police were called early Sunday after someone tried to hold up the Muncie Food Mart on Madison Street. Minutes later, an Indiana State trooper spotted the stolen truck in the Daleville/Chesterfield area. The driver refused to stop and bailed on foot. That’s when the police dog went into action. The male juvenile was taken into custody, then to the hospital for bite wounds. He’s being held in the juvenile detention center.
