An Anderson woman has been sentenced to six years in prison for collecting supplemental security income for a son who didn’t live with her at the time. 32-year-old Ashley Ann Reid was charged with three counts of welfare fraud, one count of theft and three counts felony perjury. Reid had another open case for escaping home detention and theft. That case was dismissed, as was arranged in the plea agreement.
