A rural Muncie couple has been identified as the victims of a fatal traffic accident in Selma on Saturday night. Delaware County Coroner Scott Hahn says that dental records were used to identify 51-year-old Russell Greer Jr., and his wife Joy Marie Greer. Both victims died of blunt-force trauma injuries, after their PT Cruiser slammed into a tree in the 800 block of South Albany Street and burst into flames. The Star Press reports the couple lived just outside of Selma. The investigation into the crash continues.
