New Castle inmate dies after “incident” at jail

A New Castle man has died after being arrested for drunk driving that caused a crash last week. The Henry County district attorney’s office won’t say much more about 32-year-old Brian Gosser’s death. The coroner has confirmed that the man died last Friday at an Indianapolis hospital. He had been involved in an incident at the county jail last Tuesday when EMTs were called to assist. Gosser was charged in a crash on Feb. 17th that injured his 11-year-old passenger. The father of three had been convicted three times before for DUI.
