Yesterday, two Howard County Sheriff’s deputies were shot and one of them died while serving a warrant to a man in a trailer park. Deputy Carl Koontz died after the attack just south west of Kokomo just past midnight on Sunday. He is survived by his wife Cassie and their infant son Noah. The shooter was killed.
