The trial for a 21-year-old Muncie mother charged with the death of her infant has been continued after her lawyer requested it. Sheryl Wallace is charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death and obstruction of justice. The prosecutor says her five month old son, Jensen, died a year ago after suffering fatal head injuries after being dropped on a hardwood floor by his father, Cory. The baby died and then the man allegedly set fires in the bedroom to cover it up. Cory Wallace is in jail without bond, and Sheryl Wallace is in jail with a $55,000 bond. She was arrested last September after having another baby.
