After a request from her lawyer, the trial for a 21-year-old Muncie mother charged with the death of her infant has been continued. Sheryl Wallace is charged with neglect of a dependent after her five month old son died after suffering fatal head injuries after being dropped on a hardwood floor by his father, Cory. The baby died and then the man allegedly set fires in the bedroom to cover it up. Cory Wallace is in jail without bond, and Sheryl Wallace on a $55,000 bond. She was arrested last September after having another baby.
