After taking over the reins from incumbent Republican Kevin Smith, Anderson mayor, Thomas Broderick Jr has yet to select a permanent city controller. His campaign chairman, David Eicks, has been filling in, but he is also chairman of the Anderson Board of Public Works and is overseeing the Anderson Water Department. Broderick says he’ll name a city controller by the end of the month.
