A Muncie man was killed last summer after being shot and the man who shot him has been sentenced to prison. 30-year-old Eldamar Jermaine Seals pleaded guilty in December to shooting Michael Thornton. He’ll be in prison for four years, followed by four years of electronic home detention, then two years’ probation. He turned himself in two days after the shooting. He has another trial scheduled for next month in Randolph Superior Court on drug charges.
