The purchase of an eastside flea market property by the Muncie Sanitary District is drawing criticism, after they paid more than three times its assessed value. The area in the 1700 block of East Main St. is needed for work on White River. The Star Press is reporting today that previous owners of the property are crying foul and claim district representatives have lied to them. The man who made that allegation said he has emails to prove the lies, but didn’t provide details.
