Man accused of selling drugs with child in the car

A Muncie man who told deputies he’s been selling drugs since middle school was charged with drug offenses and neglect of a dependent. Lucas Martinez is accused of selling the street drug “krokodil” (pronounced crocodile) to an undercover officer. The man’s daughter was in the vehicle at the time of the alleged sale, and CPS took custody of the child. Martinez is in jail with an initial hearing set for next Monday. His bond is $25,000.
